Crazy Crab Sandwiches and Gilroy Garlic Fries Headed to SFO

The potential for incredibly scented food being on your next flight from San Francisco International Airport just went way up. That’s because a San Francisco Giants-themed restaurant is coming to Terminal 3 (the United terminal), bringing crazy crab sandwiches and Gilroy garlic fries along with it. The Giants have partnered with airport restaurateur Tastes on the Fly (Napa Farms Market, Lark Creek Grill) to open San Francisco Giants Clubhouse, the first restaurant collaboration for the Giants outside AT&T Park. Chef Charlie Ayers (who has worked for both Google and the Grateful Dead) is bringing all the AT&T Park favorites (hence the crab and fries), along with new, healthier items.

Tastes On The Fly Wins New Lease At SFO

Tastes on the Fly will be adding a San Francisco Giants Clubhouse to Terminal 3 of San Francisco International (SFO) as part of a new lease the company was awarded. The first restaurant experience for the team franchise outside AT&T Park, the clubhouse in SFO will have a wrap-around digital wall that will feature sports, news, movies and interactive entertainment. There will also be displays of three World Series trophy replicas and a rotating exhibit of other team memorabilia.

Concessions Leases Approved For SFO International Terminal

The airport commission for San Francisco International (SFO) on Jan. 19 approved 13 food and beverages leases for the redevelopment of the International Terminal. The largest package, which includes sit-down, marketplace and casual sit-down locations, went to Tastes on the Fly, a local operator.
